Rational Numbers : when the numbers are written in fractions they are known as rational numbers.

Or, The numbers which can be written in the form p/q (where p and q are integers and q ≠ 0) are called rational numbers.

Note : 0 (zero) in an integers, however it is a rational number.

Example - 1/2, 3/4, 8/9, 13/14... etc.
