What is the momentum of a man of mass 75 kg when he walks with a uniform velocity of 2 m/s?

Solution :

Momentum = mass × velocity 

p = m × v

Mass, m = 75 Kg

Velocity, v = 2 m/s

Putting all these value in above formula, we get,

Momentum = 75 × 2 kg.m/s

                    = 150 kg.m/s
