How much work is done by a force of 10 N in moving an object through a distance of 1 m in the direction of the force?

Solution :

The work done is calculated by using the formula -

W = F x s

Force, F = 10 N

And, Distance, s = 1 m

Work done,W = 10 × 1j

= 10 j

Thus, the work done is 10 joules
