Time, t = 3s

Initial velocity, = 0 cm s-1

Final velocity, v = ?

Using the relationship, one can write

v = u + at

v = 0 cm-1 + 2 cm s-2 × 3 s

= 0 cm s-1 + 6 cm s-1 = 6 cm s-1
