Solution :

$2.7 \times 10^{12}=2.7 \times 10 \times 10^{11}=27 \times 10^{11}$

and $1.5 \times 10^{8}=1.5 \times 10 \times 10^{7}=15 \times 10^{7}$

Clearly, $27>15$ and $10^{11}>10^{7}$

Hence $27 \times 10^{11}>15 \times 10^{7}$
