Integers : The numbers 0, 1, -1, 2, -2, 3, -3.... are called integers.

  • The numbers 1, 2, 3.... are called positive integers.
  • The numbers -1, -2, -3.... are called negative integers.
  • Zero is called zero integer and is neither positive nor negative.

Note : The set of integers is denoted by I or Z.

Integers : All natural numbers, 0 and negative of natural numbers are called integers.

  • It is represented by the symbol Z.

Examples : 4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, etc...
