Solution

 Let the number be $x$

$\therefore$ According to question,

$$

\begin{aligned}

& A+8 \% \text { of } A=A \times x \\

\Rightarrow & A+\frac{8 A}{10 C}=A \times x \\

\Rightarrow & \frac{100 A+8 A}{100}=A \times x \\

\Rightarrow & \frac{108 A}{100}=A \times x \\

\Rightarrow & \frac{108 A}{100A}=x \\

\therefore & x=1.08 ; \text { Ans. } \\

\therefore & \text { Correct option is }(\mathrm{a})

\end{aligned}
