Solution

S.P. of Shyam = Rs. 660 .

$$

\begin{array}{c}

\text { Gain }=10 \% \\

\begin{aligned}

\therefore \quad \text { C.P. of Shyam } &=\frac{660 \times 100}{100+10} \\

&=\frac{660 \times 100}{110} \\

&=\text { Rs. } 600 \\

\text { S.P. of Ram } &=\text { Rs. } 600, \\

\text { Gain } &=20 \% \\

\therefore \quad \text { C.P. of Ram } &=\frac{600 \times 100}{100+20} \\

&=\frac{600 \times 100}{120} \\

&=\text { Rs. } 500 ; \text { Ans. }

\end{aligned}

\end{array}
