Solution

 C.P. $=\frac{375 \times 100}{100+25}$

$=\frac{375 \times 100}{125}$

Now, C.P. = Rs. 3000

Now, C.P. $=$ Rs. 300, loss $=20 \%$

then, S.P. $=\frac{300 \times(100-20)}{100}$

- $=\frac{300 \times 80}{100}$

= Rs. 240; Ans.

Trick : S.P. $=\left(\frac{100-20}{100+25}\right) \times 375$

$$

\begin{array}{l}

=\frac{80}{125} \times 375 \\

=\text { Rs. } 240 ; \text { Ans. }

\end{array}
