Uniform motion : If an object covers equal distance in equal time intervals then the object is said to be in uniform motion.

  • The distance-time graph in the case of uniform motion is a straight line.

For Example - A car running at a constant speed of say,10 m per second, will cover equal distance of 10 meters, every second, so its motion will be uniform.
