Isotopes : Those elements having the same atomic number but different atomic weight are known as isotopes.

There are three isotopes of Hydrogen is Hydrogen, Deutrium and Tritium.

The reason of different atomic weights of isotopes of an element is the difference in the number of neutrons in the nucleus.
