Non-Uniform motion : If an object covers unequal distance in equal time interval then the object is said to be in non-uniform motion.

  • The distance-time graph in the case of non-uniform motion is a curve line. 
  • Non-uniform motion is also called accelerated motion.

 Examples - A speeding up or slowing down vehicle, Movement of an asteroid.
