Physical Change : A change in which only the physical properties of a substance get changed and no new substance is formed is called a physical change.

  •  A physical change is generally reversible.

Examples - 

  • Breaking of a wooden stick.
  • Evaporation of water.
  • Conversion of water into ice and that of ice into water.
