Chemical change : An irreversible change in  which the composition and chemical properties of the reacting substance get changed and which cannot be reversed by reversing the conditions is called a chemical change.

  • Chemical change occur only under suitable conditions

Examples - 

  • Burning of a candle.
  • Ripening of fruits
  • Rusting of iron
  • Bursting of cracker.
